TAST 2007 - chevron stitch

Trying to loosen up a bit here, but it's difficult, because I do like things to be neat!

On one of my practice embellisher bits, felt with wool tops (roving). Chevron stitch in cotton perle and stranded cotton.

Still on chevron. Got bitten by the postcard bug.

The background fabric is hand dyed muslin. In the centre, one torn strip of muslin is used to couch down another, with a row of chevron on each side in stranded cotton. The little piece of applied aida fabric is to show chevron stitch worked on evenweave fabric.
